About the Creator
Fiona Gallagher has been lacing up her shoes in Galway since she was a teenager. A graduate of the National University of Ireland Galway and a lifelong advocate for active living, she started Run Apparel Ireland after growing frustrated with the lack of locally relevant running gear available in Ireland. She’s spent years testing products on rain-slicked roads, windy hills, and misty parkruns, and only stocks what she’d wear herself.
Why This Website Exists
Run Apparel Ireland was born from a simple question: Why should Irish runners settle for gear designed for sunnier climates? We noticed a gap—many brands overlooked the unique challenges of running in Ireland’s damp, changeable weather. So we built this site to bridge that gap, offering gear that performs as well as we do, no matter the forecast.
